Handling and care of vessels

All items we sell are one-of-a-kind handicraft pieces. Please use handling methods best suited to each material. We recommend that you wash them by hand and do not use microwave ovens or dishwashers. Glass is not heat resistant, so please avoid boiling water.

Pottery/semi-porcelain

Pottery is absorbent. Basically, you don't need to seal it, but if you are concerned about it, you can boil it in rice sharpening juice to seal it. At the beginning of use, if you use it after passing it through water, it will be less likely to stain. We hope you will enjoy the texture that will improve over time, just like the tableware that we are used to using on a daily basis. Allow to dry completely before storing. Please note that insufficient drying may cause mold and odor. Microwave, dishwasher and oven cannot be used.
