Born in 1984. She studied lacquer craft at university and then worked for a jewelry design company in Tokyo. She studied ceramics at the Ishoken (Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center) and began her creative life. Shiho Hayashi usually creates sculptures with minimal coloring and abstract forms that evoke a sense of wonder about the space. She is a lover of cats, and the food bowls she creates are as unique as cats, and their wavering forms accentuate the space like an objet d'art.
