1982年生まれ。秋田県の大学などでガラス工芸を学び、制作を始める。2012年富山市に制作拠点を移し、ガラス作家のアシスタントを経て富山ガラス工房へ入社。その後、2017年秋田県に制作拠点を移し、全国の百貨店やギャラリーで個展を開催。

秋田県の工房で制作をするガラス作家の境田亜希さんは、2匹の猫たちと暮らしています。吹きガラスの技法を主に、ガラスを削った後に蝋を再度焼き付ける「くゆり」シリーズは、凛とした美しさの中にあるどこか儚げな景色が魅力的です。

Born in 1982. She studied glass craft at a university in Akita and others, and started to create works. 2012, she moved her production base to Toyama city and worked as an assistant to a glass artist before joining Toyama Glass Studio. She then moved her studio to Akita Prefecture in 2017. Aki Sakaiida enjoys living with her two cats. Mainly using the blown glass technique, the "Kuyuri" series, in which wax is re-baked after the glass is shaved, has an elegant and fragile view that is somewhat fragile in its dignified beauty.
