1973年生まれ。大阪の朝日硝子製作所、frescoでの勤務を経て、2010年岐阜県美濃加茂市に吹きガラス工房qualia-glassworksを設立。デザインから制作までのすべての工程を自身で行なう。
岐阜県の工房で制作をするガラス作家の林亜希子さん。ある日偶然工房に迷い込んできたという、猫のミーコと暮らしています。「ちょうどいい感じ」をコンセプトに制作されるシンプルなウォーターボウルは、暮らしの空間に美しく佇む心地よい存在感の作品です。
Born in 1973. After working at Asahi Glass and fresco in Osaka, She started qualia-glassworks, a glass blowing studio in Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture, in 2010. She creates all processes from design to production by herself. Akiko Hayashi, a glass artist, works in Gifu Prefecture. She lives with her cat, Miko, who happened to wander into her studio one day. The simple water bowls she creates harmony beautifully with your living space and have a comfortable feel of presence.
